Your notifications
Read what happened and what waits for you, and choose where you hear about each kind of news: in the app, by email or as a push on your device.
The bell in the top bar shows how many notifications you have not read yet. Choose it to open your notifications.
Reading them
Notifications lists everything the Online Record Book told you, newest first. Unread ones say Unread. Choose a notification to open the page it is about. It is then marked as read, and it stays in the list as history. Choose Show older for earlier ones.
Mark all as read clears the count in one step. It needs a connection. Without one, the list shows what you last saw and says it may be out of date.
Choosing how you are told
Open Choose how you are told. Each kind of news you can receive has three switches:
- In the app keeps it in your list.
- Email sends you a copy by email.
- Push shows it on your device, even when the app is closed.
Some news is Always on, because you need it, and cannot be turned off. Your choices apply to the next notification.
Push on this device
Choose Turn on push on this device, then allow notifications when your browser asks. Push belongs to this browser: turn it on again on each device you use. If you blocked notifications, allow them for this site in your browser's settings. Signing out turns push off for this device, so the next person is not told about you.
